Mother dogs take care of their young for about 5-6 weeks. During this time, she nurses them to give them essential nutrients and keeps the warm. There should be little human contact. After this time, the puppies become more independent and can be separated from their mother.

mothers take care of their pups for about 5 to 7 weeks old. During that time the mother dog nurses her young. After those 5 to 7 weeks they are ready for adoption or if they are wild dogs then  after a year or so they find a place in the pack and help hunt protect the borders etc.

Mother dogs of new born pup’s take care of the pup’s for five to seven weeks. Then the owner usally sell’s them or give’s them away. Then the mother can have a new litter as the other puppies grow. But she will become devestated if you give all her pup’s and litters away so at least keep one or two so she will be happy.
