According to the website Universe Today, 2011’s longest day was on June 21st. That was our past summer solstice. However, that doesn’t mean that our day had more than 24 hours in it. It just meant we had more sunlight than any other day. During a summer solstice we get between 15 and 20 hours of sunlight, depending on geographical location.
