How long did it take to pay off a solar system in the 1980’s?

Well ppporter, the average cost of a solar power setup in the 1980’s ran between 80,000-150,000 thousand dollars, almost eight times more than nowadays. Compare that to the average minimum wage of the 1980’s, $3.10/hr, and you are looking at a solid 2-4 years working off your debt. Hope I helped, and have a green day!
