no telling – it depends on the tree, the nature of the soil, the level of water, the length of time the water stands, and other factors.
Oftentimes, the california red maple can live up to sixty days in flooding, given that its not uprooted, even if growth has stopped for a couple of weeks. That said, other factors certainly do play a part, and it wouldn’t be wise to count on it living for sixty weeks.
