Propagate simply means for an organism to increase in numbers by natural means. So every plant on Earth propagates itself naturally all the time so it would depend on the lifespan of the particular plant you are interested in. If you mean propagated via cuttings then the answer is not much different. Often times plant cuttings (if treated properly) can grow roots and therefore will be genetic clones to the parent but a separate plant. Tomatoes are easy to do this with as are many other plants. In fact some plants are difficult to breed by other means and so for ease are cloned. Tulips for example are propagated commercially by splitting off pieces of the bulb during the dormancy period.
