Commercial wind turbines are usually about 60-90 m (200-300 ft) tall, with 20-40 m (65-130 ft) long blades. The world’s largest turbines are way above that: 198 m (650 ft) in height, with 63 m (207 ft) blades; however, that model has been installed only on land. To get an idea of offshore turbines used, here some examples of blade lengths: 45 m (Vestas V90-3MW), 63 m (REpower 5M), 36 m (NEG Micon 2MW), 58.5 m (Siemens SWT-3.6-107), 51 m (Siemens SWT-2.3-101), 40 m (Vestas V80-2MW).
