An anteater’s tongue is more than 2 feet long. It is covered with sticky saliva and anteater’s have no teeth.
An anteater’s tongue can lap up to 160 times per minute. With such a speedy tongue, they’re able to consume up to 35,000 ants and termites each day. Anteaters are found in grasslands and tropical forests of Central and South America.
