Ponytail palm trees can get as tall as 20 ft, but they are very slow growing. See below for more information in the trees.
Ponytail palms can range from 6 to 18 feet tall, depending on how well they’re cared for, the environment they’re in, how they’re planted (a plant in a pot will be smaller than a plant in the ground), and where the ponytail palms come from.
There is quite a range for these plants, but on average they will grow to be between 6-18 feel tall. Some have been known to grow higher however, and it is not unusual to see one over 20 feet tall. Because they have a pretty wide base, they need about a 14 inch wide pot to be planted in.
In its native habitat it can grow up to 30 feet tall.
