How hot would the world be if we didn’t have an ozone layer?

If the ozone layer didn’t exist, the world would actually be colder than the world we know today. This is because the ozone layer normally absorbs UV rays, which causes the atmosphere around this layer to warm. However, because the amount of UV radiation getting into the atmophere would be up 500%, staying outside five minutes would be enough to cause a sunburn! It would also lead to much greater instances of skin cancer and genetic damage to plants and animals.
