According to the Jacksonville Zoo, we don’t know the upper limit of a kangaroo’s jump, but it’s known they can clear an 8 foot fence from a standstill, and easily leap 20-30 feet forward.
The kangaroo is said to have a jumping ability of 10 feet in height and 25 feet in length. This is the first time that I’ve heard this, but kangaroos do not have the ability to move backwards.
