How have we gotten more efficient with our water in the last 10 years?

For starters, many cities have started watering restrictions. For example, homes that have addresses ending in even numbers can only water their lawns on even days. Watering restrictions also can decide what time of day is appropriate to water. If plants are watered during the heat of the day, the water will be absorbed into the atmosphere too quickly to be absorbed into the root of the plant, thus wasting water. Always pay attention to your city’s watering restrictions, this is one of the ways we have attempted to be more efficient with our water.
