How have green house gasses changed our atmosphere?

Greenhouse gases have always been a part of the atmosphere; they act as a blanket to keep the sun’s heat in our atmosphere and make life possible. Too much greenhouse gases – such as carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, water vapor, and ozone – trap too much heat in the atmosphere and contribute to global warming. Nitrous oxide is also a lead contributor to ozone depletion.
