How has rainforest deforestation helped cause global warming?

Deforestation is a leading factor in global warming. The equipment used in deforestation are run on fossil fuels and release CO2 into the air, which is a green house gas. In addition, burning trees/wood also releases CO2 in to the air. It’s one of the few industries that has done close to nothing when it comes to changing their methods to become more environmentally friendly.
