According to the New Scientist online magazine, we have seen disappearing arctic ice and glaciers, thinner tree rings, and in recorded temperatures going up. They report that the three warmest years recorded are all since 1998.
Global climate change is drastically altering weather and climate patterns. To give a regional example, Dallas, Texas has received record snowfall in the past few years. A widespread and devastating example is the melting of the polar ice caps, reducing habitats and endangering animals.
