How is global warming affecting US wine production?

Scientists estimate that if the current warming trend stays constant, the U.S. wine industry could decline 81% by the end of this century.  Grapes are extremely sensitive to changes in temperature and Napa and Sonoma already have a 5 degree Fahrenheit difference.  It is thought that the grapes won’t suffer because of an increase in temperature, but because of the increased frequency of hot days.
