How is global warming affecting the Sierra Nevada mountains?

    The link below is a special website devoted to the specific affects that global warming is having on the Sierra Nevadas.  In short-hand explanation, the usual year-round ice caps are melting.  The snowpack has not been as heavy as normal.  The animals are being forced to move further up the mountains to the cooler and more hospitable environment.
