How is former president Bush’s record on environment issues?

The Bush Administration deliberately ignored envionmental concerns from beginning to end. In the administration’s first years Cheney announced plans to expand oil crusades onto public lands and into the untouched Artic. That same year Condi Rice made a public statement that the Kyoto Protocol is “dead,” a precursor to careless industrial emission standards. Bush and his administration not only down-played climate change, they claimed the theory was a politically charged lie. Bush then pressured the EPA to omit the climate change theory. The EPA was pressured to make several omissions and standard reversals under Bush’s watch. The link below gives a play-by-play of the Bush Administration’s Environmental neglect.
