Pheasants normal flight speed is from 27 to 38 mph when cruising but when chased they can fly up to 60 mph.
A pheasant’s average cruising speed is between 38 to 48 miles per hour. As raspberryorchid stated, their high speed when being chased has been clocked at 60 miles per hour. Pheasants were first introduced to the U.S. in Oregon’s Willamette Valley in 1881.
