How is farming and agriculture being changed because of climate change?

Climate change has a profound effect on temperatures and precipitation which makes the management of water resources more difficult. There is also increased chance of  the occurrence of natural disasters that may impact the agricultural industry such as forest fires, insect outbreaks, sever storms, and droughts. There is also the possibility of ecosystems being pushed to the limit resulting in a breakdown of relationships among species that could effect pollination and predator/prey interactions (Backlund, Janetos, & Schimel, 2008).
