I have a bit of a roundabout answer for you, but it should give you an order of magnitude idea. I can’t find a direct number, but I did find that methane-collecting landfills are an average of 28 meters deep in the US, with a range of around 14-53 meters. I also found that methane is usually only collected in deeper, more mature landfills. I would take that to mean that the average landfill depth is probably somewhere around, but perhaps a bit below, that 28 meter (about 90 foot) mark.
