How far away from the earth can you feel the gravitational pull?

According to Isaac Newton’s law of Universal Gravitation, you can never fully escape the Earth’s gravitational pull. However, if you were to travel far enough – and by far, I mean many times the distance to the moon – the force would become weak enough that it is almost imperceptible.

If this is difficult to understand, think of it this way: essentially, it’s a question of proportion, and as we all know, you can keep splitting a thing in half but it will never actually disappear.
