The human eye it seems like can see almost an unlimited distance. The human eye can, under the best of circumstances, can see a distance of 3.14 million light years. Light years are a bit tricky to understand since it is not the object that we are seeing but rather the light that is being reflected off that object. So the distance you “see” the object might be closer than the object really is. However, on a clear night it seems like I can see as far as the sky will take me.
