how erosion changes the shape of the land?

Erosion shapes land through a natural process involving gravity moving sediments and other solids away from their original source.  This move is usually carried out through water, wind, or ice, through living organisms, or through soil-sediments moving downhill.  Many cliffs, canyons, river beds, and rock formations are greatly shaped by erosion.
