How does spraying glyphosate to eliminate non-native, invasive vines and weeds affect small animals such as squirrels, black garden snakes, birds, anoles and lizards?

According to the National Pesticide Information Center pure glyphosate has a low toxicity, but if other chemicals are present with the herbicide  it can cause some harm to animals. It doesn’t seem that it can cause death to the animals or humans. Some listed symptoms were drool, vomit, diarrhea, loss of appetite, or sleepiness.  This only happens if the animal comes in contact with plants still wet with glyphosate.
