How does salt effect the amount of energy to boil water?

When salt is added to water, the boiling point of the water increases, due to the extra energy neccesary to break the NaH chemical bonds.  The typical boiling point of water is 100 degrees Celcius.  In a litre of water, the boiling point increases about one half a degree for every 20 grams of salt added.
