How does pollen make new plants?

Pollen is picked up by bees (for example), from one flower’s stamen to another and then transferred to the pistil. When the pollen from one plant to another reaches the plant’s pistil it then goes to the stigma and fertilizes the ovaries, this is called fertilization. Once the male and female cells join they grow and change into a seed and then eventually into another plant.
