The liver is responsible for detoxing the body and releases these wastes in the form of urine, feces, sweat, and even in the air we exhale. The spleen also gets rid of red blood cell waste. Thus, taking care of the liver as well as the spleen is important for proper disposal of toxins in the body.
The human body has many ways of expelling toxins from it, but the main way it does this is through filtering these toxins. The kidneys and the liver are the two most fundamental organs involved in this process. They work to metabolize and synthesize the toxins you consume so they do not enter your bloodstream and damage other organ systems. This is why liver and kidney diseases often are caused by an overload of these organs and the demand for them to filter toxins.
