    Our skin, hair provide the first line of defense against infection. If the infection is able to penetrate our bodies, our immune system will be activated to get rid of the infection. The white blood cells in our blood is the primary agent in destroying the infection.     I learned in class that your body fight off infection by sending white blood cells out, which send out anti-bodies, trapping any pathogen (infection cells) that come in sight. But other than that, I agree
