How does Mexico get most of their power?

Most of it comes from thermal sources—probably coal-powered plants. Thermal makes up 75% of Mexico’s installed capacity. Hydropower is next on the list at 19%, with a little bit of geothermal (2%). Other types of renewable energy make up the remainder.
