How does the law of conservation of energy work with solar energy?

When it comes to solar power, the law of conservation of energy is in effect because the energy is transformed. So, the solar cells convert the energy from the sun into electrical energy. The reason why solar panels aren’t anywhere near 100 percent effective in converting energy is because energy gets lost as heat or sound energy in the process, which means not all of that light energy becomes electrical energy.
No energy is ever created or destroyed when it comes to solar energy; it’s just that not all of the sun’s energy becomes electrical.
