“This cute little personal wind turbine can be hooked up to various devices to charge your phones, cameras, and other small electronics when you are on the go: walking around, driving or even riding your bike.”— Inhabitat.com It works just like any wind turbine does, by allowing the wind to spin it’s blades, which are then attached to an axle which leads to a generator, and the spinning of the shaft inside the generator (with a neat little arrangement of a few magnets and some coils of wire) creates a flow of electrons. This can be used to power up a battery, or even potentially, if it was very windy, run a device directly off it’s power.
