How does the heat of the Earth relate to the rise of civilization?

    The population of earliest humans that lived during the Ice Age found life much easier once the Earth’s heat began to rise.  This allowed them to use agriculture and set up permanent settlements rather than being forced to hunt and gather constantly to survive.
