How does the gulper eel catch its prey?

The gulper eel, which leaves deep into dark, dark waters, has an organ on top of its head that glows.  Other animals and fish are attracted to the light, hoping to find some dinner for themselves.  Once the prey is close enough, it opens its mouth and gulps it down.
