How does Greenhouse gas emissions help make ocean acidification worse?

Ocean acidification is a direct result of increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere that dissolves in seawater and forms carbonic acid.  The ocean absorbs a quarter of the carbon dioxide in the air, so any change in atmospheric levels has a big impact on the ocean as well.
