I suppose there is little at this juncture to support any positive or negative effect, but assuming the environment becomes warmer, a cold blooded animal would easily thrive, as it would become easier to warm up. This means lots more reptiles–perhaps a return from the dinosaurs?! One could only dream 🙂 Of course some theories of global warming have an equilibrium point where the planet’s ecology snaps back and sinks the world into an ice age, so they’d probably suffer if that came about.
