Polar bears are one of the species that are affected by global warming. Because the ice floats they use for hunting do not last as long, they cannot hunt in the ocean as long as they normally would. These polar bears often cannot gain the fat they need for hybernation and can end up dying of starvation.
Many species of frogs are adversely affected by global warming. Amphibians tend to be extremely temperature sensitive, so when climates change enough that the habitat of the frogs goes beyond their acceptable temperature range, die offs may occur as well as difficulties in reproducing.
