It’s hard to give a single, correct, entirely scientifically based answer to this question. An environment affects each person differently, although there have been some scientific studies that point to the idea that consistenly cloudy and rainy weather lead to higher rates of suicide and depression simply because of the body’s need for vitamin D that the body absorbs from sunlight.
