How does coral get damaged from climate change?

Coral are organisms that become damaged from a global warming through what is referred to as “coral bleaching.”  The algae, which live symbiotically with coral, are expelled when the coral becomes stressed.  The algae are vital for coral survival, as they enable the growth of the skeleton, as well as turn sunlight into food for the coral.
