How does the congestion charge work?

  1. 0 Votes

The congestion charge is a fee or tax that drivers have to pay when they enter certain traffic “zones” during rush hour periods. Kind of like a toll. The specific fee tends to change depending on the time. It gets the most expensive during the hour or half-hour with the worst congestion. Depending on the city there are certain discounts based on green vehicles and other factors.
