How does climate change affect coffee production?

Because the climate is changing, the South American farmers are having to try and work around what the coffee plants are doing, which can be difficult. In addition, the warmer climate is allowing the growth of new fungi and bug infestations. One solution was to move to a higher altitude, but doing so would raise coffee prices elsewhere. The links have some more detailed info for you to check out.
