Production of cocoa in farms can hurt the environment if proper farming techniques and rules are not followed. Although the type of farming that is required to grow cocoa beans is not as destructive as single crop farming, proper measures should still be used. Some farmers expand into natural habitats to increase productions but hurt the environment.
