A persons carbon footprint is a measure of how much carbon, usually in the form of carbon dioxide, their daily activities put into the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is one of the primary greenhouse gases that is responsible for global warming. So the bigger the footprint the more carbon, the more carbon the warmer it gets globally speaking.
