How does cancer hurt the environment?

Cancer products like medication and machines for kemotheraphy are known to harm the environment. The production of medication can cause a huge environmental impact and release toxins into the environment, that same goes for kemotheraphy machines. Other than that, environmental toxins are linked to cancers too like dioxins, formaldehyde and dichlorobenzenes.

Cancer is more a result of environmental problems than it is a cause of environmental problems. Cancer is basically a mutation of one’s cells that causes a tumor to grow out of control. Mutations in individual cells can be caused by several things, including harsh chemicals and radiation. Thus, the more pollution there is, the more cancer people get. Cancer rates are particularly high in areas with lots of air pollution, farming areas that use lots of pesticides, and in areas with lots of radiation.
