The most reliable sex determining feature is the tail. The male’s tail is ticker and longer, and the vent is located farther down the tail. The female’s tail is more slender and shorter, and the vent is located close to the body.
You can also use eye coloration to determine sex: male eyes are usually bright red while the female’s is brown/reddish-brown.
