Much the same way you would get any plant to grow: make sure they have enough space, sunlight, water, protection from harsh weather and nutrients. They should have a warm southern or western exposure, appropiately sized and cared for. There are several mulches and fertilizers you could use that are specifically designed for citrus trees. A good tip is after first planting a tree, remove its first year fruit before it starts to fully grow to allow the tree to focus on establishing firm roots and healthy branches.
