Good question, Aniyah. One particular case of carp infested waters was solved in North Dakota back in 95. They took advantage of the carp’s habits before and after spawning season of congregating in warm tributaries. By placing a large net across the mouth of three tributaries, and then treating the water there with rotenone, they killed about 700,000 pounds of adult carp, which was half of the amount estimated in the lake.
