How do you detect a low amount of protein in a sample?

Modern proteomics use florescence to accurately highlight protein content in a sample. Kits like the one in the link provided below come with solutions that you apply to the sample on a reading plate. The “fluorometer” provides a quantitative measurement of protein content that can be applied to all modifications of protein in sample, and then graphed. The lower the fluorescence, the lower the protein content.
