I have many plants in my garden like apples, avacados, jade, and date. I want to cross breed a few. But how?
Here is a tutorial on attempting to cross-breed plants and vegetables. It is tricky, and does take quite a bit of work, so be patient and prepared.
Every species of plant is different, so it stands to reason that there are many methods of cross-breeding, some more feasible than others. In a personal garden, hand pollination will probably be the likeliest method, though grafting can sometimes result in a ‘chimera’ that has qualities of both plants (the stock and the scion).
