Man-made mountains are essentially a job of sheer size and determination. Like the pyramids in Egypt, the hardest part of this is the meticulous build-up that must take place to create the mountain to begin with. Once the shape has been formed, engineers worry about smoothing the sides and giving definition to the mountain face.
