A healthy diet with plenty of Vitamins D and B12 is key. Healthy fats also keep the layer of fat insulating your brain and spinal cord (myelin) healthy. Similar to the way weight loss requires BOTH a healthy diet and plenty of exercise, your CNS needs exercise as well. One of the best ways to exercise your CNS is to write on paper as neatly as you can – this motor skill “exercise” utilizes just about every part of your CNS. Drawing on paper can be just as beneficial.
Eating a balanced diet and regular activity would be the best ways to support one’s nervous system. Complex B-vitamins will help nerve ending heal. This will help prevent diabetes, heart disease and reduce stress.
